Smeaton’s Tower

As a child I spent a lot of time in Plymouth, Devon, visiting my lovely grandparents. Walking along the seafront in Plymouth, you find Smeaton’s Tower, originally sited out at sea and the third Eddystone Lighthouse, which was moved onto land, to make way for the updated lighthouse. Above, I have painted Smeaton’s  Tower in its rightful place – out at sea!

This painting will be on sale for £45, in the Winter Gardens in Sheffield, from the 8th – 15th October on the Heeley Art Club display.
