As a child I spent a lot of time in Plymouth, Devon, visiting my lovely grandparents. Walking along the seafront in Plymouth, you find Smeaton’s Tower, originally sited out at sea and the third Eddystone Lighthouse, which was moved onto land, to make way for the updated lighthouse. Above, I have painted Smeaton’s Tower in its rightful place – out at sea!
