Private commission

This view is of the quarry that yields the exquisite fossils of the Burgess Shale, looking out towards the Trans-Canada Highway. It is found at 9500 feet, high up in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This commission was for a lovely family who looked after me when I visited Canada.
